I drew out how we wired everything on a piece of paper and immediately realized that there was no signal from the distributor to the ignition box to trigger the spark signal for the coil. With the EFI ECU connected to the distributor, the only option I could see was the points output on the EFI ECU to the points input on the ignition box. Bingo! She started right up. She won't idle without some throttle, so some tuning is in order, but at least she's running. And no leaks except the RH valve cover, which wasn't tightened enough.
