In the early 60's when I was working for the government in DC, a co-worker had an EXACT copy of this car. I have fond memories of riding in that car with him. Those rides were with several co-workers on lunch-hour short rides (off government property) to local bars or phone booths where he (and some of the others) would place bets on the numbers. That individual had "close" ties to the "mob" and he got very good pay-off odds on his bets compared to ordinary players.

A funny tale about the car is that at work, where we pulled up to park at work, the parking lot was sloped up against the building. One day he came out and found his car missing-apparently stolen. Next day the car was found about 300 feet away opposite the parking area over a slight bank in a wooded area. The car had rolled off the parking lot into the woods. It wasn't damaged.
