I spoke to Butler, and they reaffirmed what my machinist said. That the valves typically seat / seal a few miles after start up.

I will rent a leak down kit and do a test, then go from there. Yes, something to worry about.

On another subject, do you guys think I can install my Ram Air Resto manifolds on the engine off the car, and the engine will fit in the '65 GTO?
