Thanks for the tip to speak with Miguel. Fortunately, they are going to refund me and sent a return label, even though I ordered it last April and probably don't have the original box/packing.
Apparently Summit sells the same 'ultra-thin' 4x10 RetroSound speaker a little cheaper than the manufacturer and free shipping. No bracket though, but RetroSound says it's just a plumbing strap. I'll see if I have a slotted bracket somewhere. Looks like you shimmed it a little. What did you use for mounting tape...some sort of insulating/weather seal tape?
Any other tips?
