When I dropped that 6.0 in my blazer, it came from a 2005 3/4 ton pickup. Only thing I did to it was a custom tune, basically removing all the emissions stuff not needed for the swap, and dialing in the timing and fuel curve. Otherwise it was a bone stocker, and that thing would boogy for a 5300 lbs 4X4 truck.

ok, i think i got it figured out. i’m gonna pull the 6.0, snow tires, and mud flaps from my 2500HD and put them in/on my GTO, and pull the 505 out of the GTO and put it in the 2500HD.
Only question now is do I change the transmissions too? Not sure whether the muncie goes in the 2500HD or stays behind the 6.0.
