The thing about the fires is that it seems like the firefighters are not really putting them out. They're just supervising and suppressing them a bit while they burn themselves out. That's why I mentioned above about a large battery facility catching fire. That would burn for a very long time.

As for the Hummer tail lights, that reminds me of when I had my wifes Boxster in for service once and I was looking at the $445.000 Porsche GT in the showroom. The salesman was telling me how great the brakes were. I think they have ceramic rotors. Anyway, he said a brake job on the car cost $40,000!!! LOL.
