I have been out here for going on 23 years and it is home, I do miss my family members and grandkids. Never imagined that long ago that I would be the "less seen" grandparents.

But with everything I have out here moving back now would be real tough.

Not to mention, when I do go back to visit, it has REALLY gotten congested out there, usually about 3 days and I'm ready to come home.

I enjoy the peace and solitude out here, excellent roads, decent people, very low crime, and all of the other things that go with small town living.

Besides, I really do have it made, town of 500 people, I walk two blocks from my home to my office, and I can sit on the front porch on the weekend with my feet up on the railing and watch BOTH cars drive by!

No car insp. No emissions, get a title for an old car with just a bill of sale, antique plates 25.00 per year, LOL

But some things will never die,

Sounds like a great place to live. My wife and I thought about moving to Clearwater Beach, but our kids would be heart broken. Well our Eagles really got an ass kicken by the Packers!
Hope they recover for next week.
