Tank volume
You are correct about tank volume for GP being larger. I had many people tell me they were the same and that the factory literature stating 26 gallon was incorrect. I had to replace my original tank years ago and had to use the GTO replacement 20 gallon tank. I took my original tank and it took 26 gallons to fill with it sitting in the same position as it was on the car .Debate settled…they ARE different. Oh and the filler neck angle and length is slightly different.
