If I were doing the swap from 2 to 4 barrel carb on that engine, I would use a '67-'71 Pontiac intake manifold as it would have the two holes for the TVS and temp sender and it would be a direct fit with matched ports. Also, I would use a Pontiac quadrajet form the same years as it also would be more compatible with the 350. Also, the carb that you say is from a '77-'78 T/A is not a Pontiac part as the fuel inlet is facing the right side indicating that it is a Chevy or Cadillac. What is the number on the quadrajet? Because the fuel pump is on the left side of the engine, the fuel line between that and the Chevy or Cadillac carb will need to make a U turn to connect to that carb and although doable, it will be odd looking. If you need a '67='71 intake, I have a '68 intake here in Nevada that I would be willing to sell but you can probably find one close to you as they are pretty common. Probably have a quadrajet that would work also if you decide to go that way.
