Some of you might remember this car when it was featured on the cover of the Legend back in 2001. My friend recently purchased it from Gateway Classics in Scottsdale. He is around the 4th or 5th owner, but it seems like most of the other owners left the car untouched except for adding the ralley wheels, though 2 sets of deluxe hubcaps were in the trunk. 1 set original, and one set either NOS or restored to NOS. Spare looks like it had been on the road. He took delivery of it on Sunday, and three of us took it for a ride. It smelled like 1966 and drove like 1966. Tilt worked like a champ as did power antenna and am-fm. Ac was ice cold. I've posted a few pics. Its had a few repairs, but the original laquer still looks nice. Hood scoop inside is painted black.
