I run a 2801 in a 9.25:1 400 automatic car yadda yadda. I love this cam and like the previous post, Jim Hand has reccomended it before in certain 455 applications. In a 400 the 2801 gives great low RPM throttle response, good mileage, and more idle vacuum than a man would ever need.
It's not a whizbang but it will do the same damage
