Yes, many are running it in a low comp motor and liking it, but if your current valve springs have over 30K miles on them they should get changed out also.
With stock 6X heads or 5C heads you have about .540” retainer to guide clearance so the .466” lift of that cam is fine, but it’s pushing the exh valve springs to there limits.
