you will see a gain on a dyno, but something to consider is the draw it will take from the alt, although not much
there are pros/cons to using the e-pumps
it can certainly aid in cooling, especially lower speeds, i know many LS friends who say..... it will make it run to cool, but they have more GPMs
i love the pump and have had it 10+ years
it paid off in the instance where i broke and lost the accessory belt
i was still able to drive 10+ miles home, still can't believe i was able to do that, luckily only one light i had to stop for. didn't think the battery would last that long
it certainly aided in cooling temps with my setup.
the gain in HP is going to be one of those things, that when you are at say 500ish HP, it's gonna be tough to "feel" that gain
if you're at say 200hp, you might "feel" it
there's been plenty of articles and what not posted on the webs/mags that show the HP gains
now a downfall could be, if you like to drive real far, and it goes out while out on the road, chances of finding one locally could be a problem
but if you dont drive far and thats not a concern for you, then shouldn't be an issue
again i really like it and will continue to use one
Mezeire does offer a remote pump and a plate to use AN fittings. just another option if one needs more than 42gpms
