Have seen John Lee Hooker, Paul Butterfield, The Kinks, The Who, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, Buffalo Springfield, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, John Fogarty,The Clash, The Cramps, Pearl Harbor and the Explosions, DEVO, AC/DC with Bon Scott, JJ Cale, Tony Joe White, Lionel Hampton, etc. Part of the advantage of living in the SF Bay Area from 1961-2003. And the James Hunter Six is coming to CA next month!
Walked out on Humble Pie in 1982 because we got impatient and the band was late. We were in our seats and just walked out. Went to an all night poker party instead. THAT was a huge mistake. Steve Marriot died about 6 months later in a fire.
