Alarm Door Trigger Wiring
I'm finalizing the alarm system wiring in my 1977 Trans Am. The alarm module has inputs for a ground door trigger and a positive door trigger to detect when the door has been opened. The way I understand the car wiring, opening the door releases the door pin in the jamb which creates a ground contact that allows the always-live wire to flow current through the dome and under-dash lights. Which wire on the alarm system should I connect? Positive trigger or negative trigger?
