Some cars look good with a rake but in my humble opinion the 68-72 A body ain’t one of them.

If you look at the top of the doors they taper downwards front to back. It gives the car an athletic look that can’t be beat, like a crouching cat ready to pounce.

Lifting the back even an inch or two makes the whole styling intent of the car disappear.
