Great post, just one disagreement about it. "The Warrior Intake on 366 engines".

Garry Sr,
The one that was "never there" was Dale Hunt.
That leaves the "Other guy who didn't know sh**"
as our old buddy Ray Hunt.
Dale had a big fight with Ray some years ago and went off with his son and started a chevy focused
speed shop.
The "Warrior" intake was a name only. Doug Nash with Pontiac's help and money had the first units cast up.
A Ford engineer actually did the intake runner design,(Doug used to work for Ford as a plumber before he made it big).
Doug sold the manifold designs to a second company (SK Engineering) who still owns the rights to both the single 4 holley
and single 4 Quadrajet 4 bbl manifolds, and the dual quad tunnel ram manifold). Ray simply rented the tooling to produce a few manifolds when he could afford it. He did NO design work on any of the pieces. The "Warrior", I prefer to call it what it is "The Nash manifold" is a good design and was the best we had for years but a few people have enlarged the plenum for Higher rpm, larger motors, etc.
As Paul Harvey would say "And now you know the rest of the story". Tom V.
As Doug Nash was a personal friend, (Ford Skilled Traded Guy) before starting his company's Transmission stuff, He knew the real story. One of the group of Tom Nell/ Herb Adams/ Dudley McCully, race team "support parts suppliers". He knew how to get stuff made properly. RIP Doug.
But the newbys would not know who Doug Nash was or where he fit in the Pontiac race Parts "Flow Chart" so calling his intakes Warrior intakes (Ray and Dale had nothing to do with the intakes but sell them) is close enough for conversation posts.
Tom V.
And you are correct, the Camshafts were designed and made by Tom Nell/Herb Adams and General Kenetics, A race cam supplier.
