Yup, can't imagine doing one while dash is in the car, have heard others do it, but complained what a PITA it was. Was curious so asked.
Hm, a few inches too short? For the gauge cluster? I will be doing mine here shortly and curious, but will be using aftermarket gauges, will mod the harness.
Good move on the ECU & all, sounds like you have it covered.
Dash clips, yes! I had to source extras, the core used for my dash had a couple spots which chipped due to someone hastily yanking the clips. Will have to move to other locations, but not too bad.
