I recently replace all my panel lights with LEDs. Just basic Phillips brand from Rock Auto ... they ended up about halfway between your "bright" picture and your "Dim" picture. But .. they don't dim .. they just turn off when you turn them down. Still .. vast improvement over the OEM bulbs.
