How to age decals to match patina
I have a solid 69 GTO with nice patina- looks like a solid old car. Paint is tough but I can get a little shine out of it.
I would like to add something to the car.
I have considered putting judge decals and spoiler on the car- but only if I can age the decals to make them match the patina of the car. Has anyone done this it seen it done? Clay bar? Buffer? Heat?
The other option i thought of was to put the 69 ‘Royal’ treatment on the car. White from the nose to the back of the hood and white around the rear window and trunk. It could probably be added very easily.
