Im used to the 2.20 first gear but I think it would be more pleasant to drive if it had come with the M20 trans. Not sure why pontiac chose the M21 with the 3..31 gears . I believe chevelles also came that way with some 454s. Taking off on a steep hill can be tricky without riding the clutch excessively. I think the saddle and mint go decent together. Well,,,,it also has its share of dark saddle on the inside too.
