The '70 Formula is a factory RAIII , so has it's original factory functional hood. The '71 455HO Formula wasn't ordered with Ram Air, so came with the dual snorkel/dual heat riser air cleaner. I added the Ram Air to that one as it already had the openings cut out and the correct repop screens installed. Mike Sparks sold me a correct original '71 F-body RA air cleaner with the studs on the flapper housings.

I too have a 1970 formula 400 looking for a ram air hood mine got stolen many years ago and I misoplaced my original air cleaner and got a 1971 replacement. I believe the 1971 -75 didnt have studs but I may be wrong . Im looking for a 1970 ram air air cleaner with studs if someone wants to trade, I too converted from warning lights to the correct rally package and was told to buy from Ames wiring harness. Im looking for dark saddle sun visors and a dark saddle dash console for auto plus alternator 1100904. If you can guide me in the write direction I appriciate it. I have a restored 1100928 thats from 1970 open face for a 1971 formula or tran am that I will trade too. Thank you
