On the primaries I leave the thickness in the center divider with blending, pretty much like Jim Hand did it, and taper it in larger as it enters the plenum. The divider quickly tapers in to a skinny center divider between the secondaries. I do the same with a spacer. Shoot me an email and I'll send some pictures if you want to see it.

Not that it's a big deal. I've done them the way you have it too and don't notice any difference, it'll run perfectly fine like that.
