How I do it by myself in my garage.

Both the engine and trans were being replaced.

I simply rolled the car backwards little by little as I extracted the engine and trans rather than pull the hoist rearward. I always remove the radiator, why take the chance of damaging it?

The Mac’s Pivot Plate makes it so easy.
