I've noticed in the past couple of months a lot of listings; in the photos (where you need to scroll over to the right) there will be a phone # and/or an EM address. That way you can contact the seller directly and then they can by-pass the ebay fees.
Some sellers are just putting their phone # right in the description. Either way; perhaps you, as a buyer, can negotiate a better deal on that part as well? I see this as push-back for the excessive fees and their tricky math where they are charging fee % money against all the shipping as well as the tax! It doesn't seem fair to me, but ebay's rules. It's their website I guess they can pretty much do whatever they want. Remember way back in the old days when a lot of sellers's user ID was their EM address?
