I have a 68 Firebird which has Doug's D-port headers. I run the Wix 51258 oil filter. I change oil once a year. I remove the 3 bolts that hold the housing on, change filter and install. If u put a thin film of oil on the gasket that meets the block you can use the gasket over and over. Use a silicone of your choice and glue gasket to oil filter housing.
