The BBC lifter came in, other than the guides being 90° rotated they are no change from the 2148's - so they will not work. My work on the Crane lifters was halted as I thought I need as few variables as possible on startup, so I went with the Crower solid rollers. Cam is 220/230° and 112° separation. I degreed it in to verify fitment and buttoned up the lifter valley. Lash was set at 0.006" as the KRE heads are aluminum and will grow a bit.

Fuel line routing for the Edelbrock Port FI setup needed to be changed. Edelbrock mounts the crossover for the fuel rails in back - I wish the inlet to be there so the crossover must be moved up front. This of course causes issues with the alternator rear brace. A friend noted that the 69 T-stat housing and upper hose may be a better way to go.

Hoses are fuel injection grade with FI clamps - 60 psi should not be a big issue here - AN stuff is more trouble than it is worth. Hardlines are bubbled a bit to prevent slippage.
