Buy what you want. I would go back to AllPontiac in a heartbeat. I had an issue with starter fitment that turned out to be a problem with the starter, not the block. AllPontiac did everything they could to help me, and at the end of the day it wasn't even their issue to begin with. Turns out the starter I bought had a mounting pad that was too thick.
