Another case of a company with overseas manufacturing not knowing or caring about correct part to produce?
When the fuel pump died on my '71 T/A in early 2017, none of the parts houses even listed a mechanical pump as available. The only thing they had listed was a cheap retrofit electric pump. That is when I figured out that the 75-79 fuel pump was "close enough" to work.
