Yeah I know.... but had to at least confirm a HT.
Of the Sport Coups I remember seeing back then, which wasn't a whole lot of, I don't remember ever seeing one without the chrome trim. Spot welds showing doesn't mean no trim, it had the trim on it a one time. In the white 66 Pontiac dealer catalog I have, there is not one Sport Coup shown without the trim. I say it wouldn't/didn't come out of the factory without the trim.
