B-man, SD455DJ; great info.
I've avoided this 2803 Thread because the recent Cam Install is a tame result in my 9.0:1 455. It starts and idles. That ain't right
. Cam is Crower 280h-10 232/236 110 LSA. I fear it may not be 12.2 ET or Quicker anymore. Maybe it's still all that.
Definitely improved idle showing 7-8" vacuum in gear (was 3-4" idle in gear)
Seat of pants says it feels like a 2-BBL.
So this thread Assesses the 2802 is 224/234 on 114 LS, in 455s as tame at low 13's and PINGS.
and the Crower 280h-10 232/236 110 LSA is a tame result in a 9.0:1 469, not sure if it Pings on 89. Still got to nail it a few more times.
and the Tomahawk TC-0x? Cam 236/244 112LS in 9.0:1 (my 12.2 ET Signature) has a snot-nosed ide, 4" vacuum & unstable until warmed, with a respectable pull-away. NO PING.
from this limited set, the ideal cam for Low-compression Street/Strip "455" is 233/240 with LSA between 110-114.
Opens the question of LSA! What about those 104 LSAs?
is the Vizard 128 rule good & right?
