what did you buy for seat components? I did my seats years ago & I reused mostly original insides as it was in pretty good shape. But, I have a few wrinkles because of it. Just not enough padding. I will be taking them back apart & trying something else. maybe those foam one piece inserts with the cotton filler over top? Not sure.

Ok, so my upholstery guy supplied me with what he calls "unbacked marine carpet", this is the black material I have used instead of the burlap or hessian directly on the springs. The rear seats then had 1" foam glued and hog ringed over that. The seat bottom had polyester wadding over the foam then the vinyl cover over, the seat back just had the foam with no wadding.
I'm very happy with the result, I don't have pics, tho they have turned out like new to my eye.
