My '79 Camaro I moved the rod up to the hole where brake light switch bracket was bolted and used a clevis and adjustable rod for the MC. One thing I noticed was the power booster rod is jut bolted on one side of the pedal a clevis centers it on the pedal and that puts it at an angle to the MC. I cut off on arm of the clevis and bolted it to the pedal offset so it lined up better.

I used a smaller Strange Mopar style MC 1.032" I think have a a Wilwood Dynalite kit on the front and the metric GM caliper and TA rear discs n the rear. Pedal ia a little hard, have not driven it except off and on the trailer as project not finished.
