We've discovered that current versions of Internet Explorer are blocking some of the javascript on the PY Forums. One of the Javascripts it is blocking is the username dropdown you are looking for. The problem does NOT seems to be occurring with other browsers (but correct me if I'm wrong).
The PMs should work the same if you use the link in the member's profile or any other PM link on the Forums.
Terry, I'm sending you a PM with a few things that could be causing your PMs not to go through.
