In 1970 I wanted to trade in my 69 firebird it was only a year old & my dad said I should keep it as it was so new. My mom worked for a plymoth / chrysler dealer as the bookeeper & when it came in I had to have it. I took a test drive with my dad & he said no you'll kill yourself with it besides you just got the bird. The car I wanted & test drove was a 70 HEMI CUDA red with black interior, 4 spd car. It would have cost me $ 65.00 a month. But my dad said no at that time, that how I had to wait to order the new 455SD 73 GTO that never came in. Then in 1986 we were shopping at a collector car lot (with my dad) & we saw a 70 HEMI CHALLANGER & my dad in his wisdom said wow the car was priced at $ 82000.00. He looked me in the eye & said if I would have known you were going to keep such good care of your cars I would have let you buy the CUDA back then. Hind sight is a bitch. Dads gone now & so is the CUDA.
