Same **** happens over here, our local track(there's only three in the whole country) has constantly fought to keep the track open. Over the years the local council has made them build a £50,000 road into the facility,erect £30,000 30ft high sound barriers around the strip, insist on 10 days between each event, a track curfew of 6pm(which killed off the summer night racing) etc etc. And that's without the effect the poor economy has on the track,last year was really tight for money.
