Pushrod length for this arrangement is 9.950". At this point a head gasket is not in place so that makes the pushrod right at 10".
Agree the o-rings around the pushrod would be a very difficult proposition to maintain seal and or provide support for pushrod. As measured at the top of intake port, the intake pushrods on this setup moves +/- .015" (toward the rocker stud) during the full sweep of the 1.65:1 Crane rocker with a .420" roller lobe.
Exhaust pushrod holes were located similarly (in line with rocker stud opening) but did not line up as well. Will move over about .100". See attached.
