467ci 635hp
467cid Specs, my sig lists the track times and on the dyno we made 635hp@6400 and 575ft/lbs@4900. This dyno has proven to be conservative by about 50hp when track times & race weight are calculated. I drove this all over the place on the street and made well over 350 passes at the track before I pulled the motor to check everything over.
- Block: 1968 Pontiac 428 + .060 over, zero deck height, 4 bolt mains with stud kit
- Rods: Eagle 6.80”
- Piston/Rings: ROSS flat tops, 134gm pins, Total Seal Gapless
- Balancer: TCI Rattler
- Flex Plate: TCI
- Bore/Stroke: 4.181/4.25 (455 crank)
- Heads: Edelbrock 320/250cfm 70cc, cr 12.09, 2.11/1.77 valves, head stud kit
- Pushrods: 9.350” .080” wall 5/16” cm
- Intake: Edelbrock Victor, port matched, 1/2” spacer
- Carb: King Demon RS 1095cfm
- Rocker Arms: Harland Sharp 1.65
- Cam: UltraDyne roller 307/314 (271/278 @.050), .4176/.4176 tappet lift, 700/700 net lift with .024/.024 lash
- Ignition: MSD 6AL, MSD crank trigger, MSD 8981 programmable timing control and is sent through a gutted GM HEI
- Exhaust: Hooker round port 2"x30” and 3.5" (9.5” long) collector headers, 3.5” to Dr.Gas ‘X’, 3” out to 3” FlowMasters 3 chamber mufflers and no tail pipes
- Oil control: Melling 80psi oil pump, Canton oil pan
