Look at your Dyno sheets. Usually the changing of launch rpms is to take full advantage of your chassis, if it can take the launch, or track conditions. Also to help your reaction times as it does change the leave.
The only way to find out is to test and wear it out, LOL. Even the track could change your results.
Race hard and have fun.
BTW: A longer stroke motor or bigger can drastically loosen your convertor to the point of needing tightening and check your MPH against your past engine combo.
