Since i haven't set my victor back on the motor just yet, i'm wondering if i should have it milled as well.
It sits a bit high between the heads and doesn't match well to the ra4 port size.
the pattern left from the gasket on the intake flange reveal the outline as the top of the ports are even with the upper edge of the gasket/head port, while the bottom edge of the intake ports sit about 1/8" above the gasket. I guess i could just grind on the intake and bring the lower edge of each port down to match the gasket imprint, then it would match the head ports.
THe milling would probably help on bolt alignment too.
What would be the easiest way to figure the amount of material to be removed from the intake flange, based on the info given?
