Hi,
I have a 1961 Tri-Power aluminum intake manifold. I believe this item to be very rare. I have seen cast iron versions dated for 1961, but this is the only one I have ever seen made from cast aluminum. It has been suggested that perhaps it is a "Daytona Manifold" made for Nascar but I don’t know how I would be able to verify that. I will give as much info as possible on this manifold and hope that someone can help me identify it and perhaps even give it a monetary value. The end carburetor holes are larger than the center. Ends are approx. 1 11/16" dia and the center holes are approx. 1 7/16" dia. The casting date, located on the underside of the manifold is 7/19/61. The casting #’s, located on the top, are 540510. The firing order , also located on top, is 18436572. Can anyone give me any info on this item. Was it a stock item? Was it a race item? What type of vehicle/engine was it designed for. What is its value. Is it considered rare? Please email me if you can help!!

Thanks,
Lester
