Where should the exhaust exit the rear of the '69 Firebird? The exhaust that was on there before would exit just behind the rear tires and was positioned between the leaf springs and the 1/4 pannel pointing downward. I have since installed a new 3" exhaust but it routes the tailpipes straight out the back. I checked the '69 GM Manual and it shows them going out the back, does that sound right?
