Thanks for the insight guys...new plan. (again) The more data i collect the more fluid the situation gets. :( So 2 of the cast pistons were bad (1 cracked skirt, 1 cracked ring land) Then some...

the 4x head. The short turn from the floor to the seat is pretty short in comparison to the 62's. I am guessing about .100 difference. 27 years ago when I did the work on them there was enough...

Yeah I figured since the chambers were "raised" I would not get as much short turn length on these...

Doing some Port work on 4X heads

Got things lined up with the machine shop to work my 4X heads. They will be adding liners, cut guides down to .530, and install 2.11 valves (up from the 1.96). So after they get to this point I will...
