That is a respectable price. It often seems like GTOs, particularly first generation seem to be undervalued compared to other GM A bodies, and even their MOPAR equivalents. Never really understood...

Thanks guys, good info. Wanted to go the aluminum drums route, but beginning to definitely think discs on the front is the way to go. I'll save the GM original restoration mentality for Vette!

A word of caution though, if you intend to use later year heads on the 421 block (as I did) you'll need to punch the block out and use 428 pistons with compatible valve angle/relief.
