Leaf spring pads

Hi All,

I'm changing my rear end on my 67 Firebird.
Should I use the rubber pads or ditch them?
Maybe just the one between the axle and spring?
I am using CalTraks.

Thanks,
RIck

Do they make a deep pump without a return?
Changing from the stock pump to the deep solved my fuel starvation problem.
But plugging the return does bother me.

I just found this on another site.

"Otherwise the pump can be replaced with a non return type. Do not attempt to plug the return line fitting, the pump will flood your carburetor. "

Fuel pump

Can you run a newer style stock pump with the return line plugged?
My 67 tank does not use one.
Could this cause to much fuel pressure flooding the engine?
Thanks in advance!
