66 gto sunvisor doesn't stay up

Any trick to keeping then up. Passenger side good. Have to take driver's side off when on the road.

Looking for the part "collar" that goes around the column and next to the dash. Mine was shot and misplaced. Not sure what it is called so I can find a repro preferred or used one.

I forget when stripping down my car if it had front and rear speakers or just rear. I heard something regarding the defroster. I have a non/ac car- if that matters. Thanks, Larry

Quarter window function inside door - 66 gto

re-assembling quarter window mechanism and it wants to pull the window back instead of down. Have all the parts. any suggestions? Thanks, Larry

installing heater controls

The heater control panel on my 66 GTO non ac, is shot, cables ok. I'm going to install it just to get the dash in to finish the car. I've had bad luck with used parts and might wait untill a repro...

Thanks for the info. I think what blueoldgoat said makes sense. It came from the factory one way and the dealer installed factory parts later on if needed. I guess now it depends on what is available...
