What where you doing with that length push rods when using a late model head like a 96 casting?

The stock length push rod for that set up is 9.145”.

Well it’s 100% has to be something with the float or the needle hanging up now for some reason since it did not have this issue last year and your other two carbs are fine even though they are not...

You might be better off building a 400 with 3” main stroker crank to get up to around those cubes.

They look fine for the average way the motor is used that put those miles on the plugs, extended full throttle maybe a different story and can only be determined with a fresh set of plugs and 3 or 4...
