I would stay with the originals, thay look fine...

I would stay with the originals, thay look fine and you know that thay will fit with no issues.

Did you replace the control arm bushings with stock rubber or go to a urethane style?

12,500 miles per yr is not that much depending on where you live, I have over 150,000 on my truck thats not quite 7yrs old. Different times and different vehicles but not out of the question.
