Feeler: I would possibly sell my 1969 matching date code #48 heads. They have been gasket matched and slight port work done by previous owner. Crossovers filled, pushrod holes clearanced for 1.65...

Check your float adjustment, spray carb cleaner...

Check your float adjustment, spray carb cleaner around intake to check for vac leaks, check timing, and post in the correct section next time.

Replace the bulb plate housing. 99% chance they will work fine. (assuming you already tried a new bulb?) Bulbs dont have to be discolored or look blown to not light.:oogle:

Its in a side barn thats open to weather. the top is down and "critters" have made beds in the interior. Body is workable. I'm just not a fan of the later Bonneville design. I like the 54-61's better...

Agree to an extent traction WILL increase but not at the same pressure as a skinnier tire on same width rim. Had 295 on a 7 inch rim and it hooked way better than the 275 BUT! I only ran about 22-25...
