Do the notches (bore chamfer) ever become an issue for stroked motors? It looks like the piston rings are shifted higher on the stroker pistons and might get close to the chamfer.

I had a whirlyjig that worked very well.. Perhaps not the cheapest, but I thought it was safe and easy to use. Since I have a convertible, their optional body/frame stiffener seemed a good design.

I've been looking for the air dam for a long time too. From the parts catalog, it looks like it's a "baffle" part number 9790969 for all 71-71 A body Pontiacs w/aircon. Wish someone would repro it.

If you are missing the grommet (bushing) at the lower support bracket, I was able to find this one at my local hardware store 0.50 OD and .375 ID. Works great.
